However, I also want to share a quick list of important campaign dates for you engaged citizens. I had it on my intro post to the walkable city rules series, but Facebook doesn’t like posts getting that long, so I’ll repost it here for your (and my) reference:

✔️ July 18, 2022 – Start of Pre-Campaign Period

✔️ July 25, 2022 – Nomination Packages available upon request for candidates

✔️August 30, 2022, 9:00am – Start of Nomination Period

✔️September 9, 2022, 4:00pm – End of Nomination Period

✔️September 16, 2022 – End of Election Period and Pre-Campaign Period

✔️September 17, 2022 – Start of Campaign Period

✔️September 10-18, 2022 – Candidates Receive “10 Questions with” Questionnaire from Better Langley: by Brad Richert

✔️September 21, 2022 – School Trustee All Candidates Meeting (7-9pm @ Langley Fine Arts)

✔️September 22, 2022 – Langley Farmers Institute All Candidates Meeting (7-9pm)

✔️September 24, 2022, 9:00am – Campaign signs may be erected

✔️September 25, 2022 – Deadline for “10 Questions with” Questionnaire

✔️September 26, 2022 – Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce All Candidates Forum (6-8:30pm)
